(NASDAQ: SYBT), parent company of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company, with offices in the Louisville, Indianapolis and Cincinnati metropolitan markets, today reported record results for both the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2019. Total revenue, comprising net interest income and non-interest income, increased 7% to $43.0 million for the second quarter of 2019 from $40.1 million for the second quarter of 2018. Net income before income taxes increased 5% to $17.6 million for the second quarter of 2019 from $16.7 million for the comparable quarter, despite incurring $1.3 million in one-time transaction costs related to the acquisition of King Bancorp, Inc. Net income for the second quarter of 2019, which includes a non-recurring state income tax benefit, rose 22% to $16.5 million or $0.72 per diluted share
