India and the European Union have agreed a new trade deal that will significantly cut import tariffs on EU made vehicles. The agreement signals a potential shift in competition for India's car market, where Suzuki Motor currently has a strong position. Lower tariffs could make European brands more price competitive over time, pressuring Suzuki Motor's long established dominance.
