House Republicans passed a bill to make it a state crime for a person to be present in Tennessee 90 days after a judge issues a final deportation order. would make it a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine up to $2,500, to be present in Tennessee after a deportation order is issued. The bill passed in a party-line vote of 73 to 22 on March 16.
