Like It Or Not, There’s A Good Chance Hard Seltzer Will Show Up At Your Home For The Holidays Proving that alcoholic seltzer has staying power through cold-weather months, flavored malt beverages enjoyed their highest sales growth ever in October, and a full one-third of Millennials say they plan to serve spiked seltzer over the holidays. According to the National Beer Wholesalers Association “This index reading at 85 is reminiscent of craft (beer) index readings of 80+ that lasted from October 2014 through May 2016,” says the NBWA in a statement. Releasing its own survey on seltzer sales Wednesday, the brand Arctic Summer Health appears to be the driver of such decisions. Arctic Seltzer reports that with 43% of Americans feeling guilty about overindulging in food and drink from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day, more than half of adults wish for healthier alcoholic options over the holidays.
