Learn More » Dear readers/followers, One of my firmest rules in investing is to not let irrational exuberance and overvaluation dictate my price targets and investment mandates (to myself, for my portfolio). This can sometimes be a hard rule to follow, especially when companies start climbing seemingly with no end in sight. Since I last wrote about Loews ( NYSE: L ), the company has actually performed well - but it has both underscored the S&P500 during that time period and has also underperformed my portfolio development. So while it can be said that my "HOLD" rating was not the correct way to go in some ways, by way of investing for me, it certainly was the correct way for me. That being said,
