A seller's exemption certificate obtained from the Morris County Clerk's Office by the Daily Record verified the purchase price and a sale date of Feb. 19. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security acknowledged the purchase last week but declined to provide a timeline for its conversion into a facility for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. "Every day, DHS is conducting law enforcement activities across the country to keep Americans safe," a statement provided by DHS spokeswoman Christine Cuttita said.
