HAMILTON, Bermuda, Jan. 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Teekay GP LLC, the general partner of Teekay LNG Partners L.P. (Teekay LNG or the Partnership) (NYSE:TGP), has declared a cash distribution of $0.14 per common unit for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 which will be a 2019 reportable event for United States tax purposes, and will be subject to Form 1099 reporting, instead of a Schedule K-1. The cash distribution is payable on February 8, 2019 to all common unitholders of record on February 1, 2019. As previously-announced, the Partnership expects to increase its quarterly common unit distribution by 36 percent to $0.19 per unit, commencing with the first quarter of 2019 distribution to be paid in May 2019. All future common unit distributions are expected to be reported on Form 1099 for United States tax purposes.
