Ltd. (TLT), a unit of Tokyo Gas, for a newbuild LNG carrier, following a prior time charter contract for seven LNG carriers signed with TLT. The vessel will be built at the Geoje Shipyard of Hanwha Ocean Co. Ltd. and is scheduled for delivery in 2026. MOL will manage the vessel that will be utilized for TG Group's LNG procurement and LNG trading after delivery, MOL said in a news release. The new vessel will be equipped with the MAN Energy Solutions engine, which improves fuel consumption efficiency, with specifications that enhance its environment friendliness, compared to conventional LNG carriers, according to the shipowner. It has an overall length of 294.9 meters (967.5 feet) and the capacity to transport 174,000 cubic meters (6.1 million cubic feet) of the chilled fuel. Take control of your future.
