Jan. 9, 2026, 6:01 a.m. ET Should American drivers pay a monthly subscription fee to get more out of their cars Toyota (NYSE: TM) is offering multiple monthly subscription plans that can personalize vehicles and unlock suites of features that improve the overall ownership experience. These plans come standard with Toyota's Remote Connect, a smartphone app service that lets drivers start their cars, unlock them and toggle light and trunk controls without a key. Plans range from $15 to $25 a month. The Japanese automaker is also offering Wi-Fi provided by AT&T for an additional $25 a month.
