The seventh generation loses that distinct look and now resembles a number of traditional mid-size SUVs, including its slightly smaller sibling, the Forester Available in four trims – Touring, Limited XT, Wilderness and Premier XT, the base model starts at $40,895 (before freight and pre-delivery inspection). It's about $1,900 more than the outgoing base trim, but adds way more goodies including a new 12.1-inch multimedia touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, larger 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, a hands-free power rear liftgate, a wireless phone charger and heated steering wheel and front seats.
