The March 5 recall notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the "second-row seat backs may fail to lock into position during seat back adjustment." The agency n oted that the issue could lead to an occupant not being properly restrained in a high speed collision scenario Here's what to know about the recall. Which models are included in this Toyota recall? According to the notice, approximately 550,007 vehicles are potentially affected. The models included are: 2021-2024 Toyota Highlander 2021-2024 Highlander Hybrid The recall numbers are 26TB06 and 26TA06. What consumers should do if they have a recalled vehicle The NHTSA advises owners to notify the dealership, where the return springs in the recliner assemblies will be replaced for free.
