oriented polypropylene (BOPP) and biaxially oriented polyethylene (BOPE) films on the same machine. The installation was carried out in collaboration with its India-based subsidiary, Toppan Speciality Films Private Limited (TSF). According to the Japanese company, TSF will begin mass production on the new line from mid-November 2025. The facility will supply BOPP and BOPE films to packaging converters and major brand owners in the food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors across India and international markets. The new installation is expected to raise TSF's overall film production capacity by around 40%. It operates at high speed and incorporates an advanced quality management system to maintain uniform thickness, enhance transparency and offer consistent strength across products.
