Experts say experiences, like cafes, are important for driving foot traffic into stores. They can also promote brand awareness and boost sales for a company. Capital One and Ralph Lauren have established dozens of cafes since launching in 2014 and continue to expand. From monogrammed lattes at Louis Vuitton to handbag-inspired pastries at Coach , retail stores are increasingly doubling as cafes.
