Personal loan growth is expected to outpace the year-over-year increases in the number of new mortgages, credit cards and auto loans, according to TransUnion. “Personal loans have truly become the middle-class refinancing option for high-interest credit card debt,” said Jim Triggs, CEO of Money Management International, a nonprofit credit counseling organization.
