The No. 6 Vols (25-11) are set to play No. 1 Michigan (34-3) on March 29 (2:15 p.m. ET, CBS) at the United Center in Chicago. Tennessee could make history with a win over Michigan, leading to its first Final Four appearance. The Vols upset No. 2 Iowa State 76-62 in the Sweet 16. Tennessee dominated Iowa State in the second half after leading by one point at halftime. Tennessee outrebounded Iowa State 43-22 and 16-8 on the offensive boards. Michigan's defense held Alabama to just 28 points in the second half to secure the 90-77 Sweet 16 victory. The Wolverines (34-3) withstood a 35-point outing from Labaron Philon Jr. with 33 bench points and a 23-point, 12-rebound double-double from Big 10 Player of the Year, Yaxel Lendeborg. The Tennessee-Michigan survivor will face the Arizona-Purdue winner on April 4 at the Final Four in Indianapolis.
