approaching $100 billion, according to reporting from Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter. The robotaxi maker is seeking funding from both external investors and its parent company Alphabet, which also owns Google. The parties have considered a valuation as high as $110 billion, though the final amount raised and valuation have not yet been determined. This potential funding round would represent a significant increase from Waymo's previous investment round in October 2024, which valued the company at over $45 billion and was also led by Alphabet. Waymo has established itself as a leader competing with Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) in the autonomous ride-hailing market.
