Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ:TXN) is one of the long-term holdings of D. E. Shaw. The fund first purchased a stake in the company back in the fourth quarter of 2010. This position comprised close to 1.3 million shares. Minor additions and subtractions were made to this in the coming years.
