Construction is underway at the intersection of Grand Parkway and West Road in Cypress, Texas for the new Texas Roadhouse, which is reportedly scheduled to open in early June for dining and to-go orders, according to the Houston Chronicle. In March, fans got a sneak peek on Facebook, as the new location's managing partner shared an update on construction on the large restaurant. The average Texas Roadhouse is about 7,500–7,900 square feet and can seat roughly 300 guests. The Cypress location will likely be "on the larger scale size, offering ample space for groups, families, and busy weekenders," reported Hello Cypress. The Texas Roadhouse Facebook page also said the new restaurant is hiring. More than 200 positions are open, according to the Chronicle. Texas Roadhouse is known for its hand-cut steaks, made-from-scratch sides and fresh-baked bread.
