Robert Kiyosaki says modern life has become so comfortable that it's holding people back financially. “Most people are losers because they're lazy,” the “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author said in a recent appearance on “The Iced Coffee Hour” podcast . “America is too easy.” Why He Thinks America Is “Too Easy” Kiyosaki's point is that life in America can be comfortable enough that people stop pushing themselves, saying that “200 million Americans” depend on some form of government assistance and are “counting on” programs like Social Security. In his view, that safety net reduces urgency and discourages risk-taking, which ultimately holds people back from building real wealth.
