Estrella , a person with knowledge of the situation told the Detroit Free Press on condition of anonymity because it isn't official, on Thursday, April 9. The Maine native stands 6 feet 11 and 240 pounds and averaged 10 points and 5.4 rebounds in just 18.3 minutes a game in 2025-26. He shot 59.6% from the floor and despite having already spent three years in college, should have two years of eligibility remaining given he played just three games in 2024-25 before missing the majority of the year after undergoing surgery on his left foot. He will graduate prior to enrolling at U-M. Estrella, who opened the last year on the bench before he started 13 of the final 19 games, scored 10 or more points 19 times and shot 60.4% on 2-pointers.
