The 1-seed Wolverines will face 4-seed Alabama on Friday, March 27, in the Midwest Regional semifinal of the 2026 NCAA Tournament at United Center in Chicago. The game will tip off at 7:35 p.m. ET and will be televised on TBS and truTV, with streaming available on Sling TV Michigan, the No. 3 overall seed coming into the tournament, is a Final Four favorite after rounding out arguably its best regular season in program history. Alabama, meanwhile, is looking to reach the Final Four for the second time since 2023, when the Crimson Tide were the No. 1 overall seed for the first time in program history but fell to San Diego State (the eventual runner up) in the Final Four. Michigan is coming off a 101-80 win over 16-seed Howard in the first round and a 95-72 win over 9-seed Saint Louis in the second round, both taking place in the tournament's opening weekend in Buffalo, New York.
