With Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin recording three touchdown passes, Ohio State (12-0, 9-0 Big Ten) defeated Michigan (9-3, 7-2 Big Ten) 27-9 on Saturday, Nov. 29 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. The Buckeyes outclassed the Wolverines in nearly every facet of the game, demonstrating why they are ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation. With the loss, Michigan falls to 7-2 in the conference and will not make the Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis. Their College Football Playoff dreams are also essentially dead, though that won't be made official until the playoff committee comes out with their final standings. Michigan had won its previous four matchups against its biggest rival.
