is going dancing, looking for the program's first-ever Final Four appearance. The Wolverines have earned the No. 2 seed in the Fort Worth-3 region of the 2026 NCAA Tournament and will play 15-seed Holy Cross in the first round on Friday at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. As a top-four seed, the Wolverines will be hosting first- and second-round games at Crisler. It's just the second time they've done so, with the previous time in 2022. The winner between U-M and Holy Cross will face either 7-seed N.C. State or 10-seed Tennessee on Sunday at Crisler. The Wolverines finished the regular season at and No. 3 in the Big Ten, behind UCLA (the No. 2-ranked team in the nation) and Iowa (No. 7). Michigan also advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament, where they fell to Iowa, 59-42, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
