Tony Garcia Dave Boucher Detroit Free Press Updated Dec. 12, 2025, 5:05 p.m. ET Hear this story Fired Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore was arraigned on a felony home invasion charge and two misdemeanors Friday, Dec. 12, in 14A-1 District Court in Ann Arbor. A Washtenaw County prosecutor said that on Wednesday, Dec. 10, Moore went into the home of a woman with whom he'd had a relationship, grabbed knives out of a kitchen drawer and threatened suicide. "I'm going to kill myself, I'm going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands," First Assistant Prosecutor Kati Rezmierski said, quoting what she believes Moore said. She said he is a danger to the public, but Moore's lawyer disagreed. Magistrate Odetalla Odetalla ordered a $25,000 cash surety bond, for Moore to wear a GPS tether and "continue all mental health treatment" as a condition of his bond.
