On Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Purdue, Michigan basketball star Yaxel Lendeborg did exactly that. In the spotlight in a less-than-positive way at Mackey Arena, Lendeborg was a key part of a bashing of the Boilermakers - one of six Wolverines to score in double figures in a balanced, clinical effort, scoring 13 points and dishing out seven assists. It came just a couple days after a video surfaced this week in which he smack-talked the Boilermakers, with a couple of curse words, to boot. Coach Dusty May addressed the situation with Lendeborg earlier this week and detailed his response to media Monday, but Tuesday night was Lendeborg's first time to give his side of the story. "This is when I first committed, like my second time going out at school the month I signed," Lendeborg explained of the video allegedly shot in May.
