Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) could become the next leader of the Department of Homeland Security, as he was named recently the nominee to replace Kristi Noem by President Donald Trump . A current member of the Senate, Mullin has been an active stock trader in recent years. Markwayne Mullin's Recent Stock Transactions Mullin made three stock trades on Feb. 25, according to data from the Benzinga Government Trades page. The senator bought $50,000 to $100,000 in UnitedHealth Group shares. This joins a recent $15,001 to $50,000 purchase of the health insurance stock by the senator back in September 2025. Before that, Mullin had sold his previous holdings in the stock in August 2025.
