by seemingly everyone on the political spectrum — from President Donald Trump to Sen. Cory Booker. Now pharmacy benefit managers are being targeted by Gov. Mikie Sherrill. In her budget address on March 10 , Sherrill said she would work with the Legislature to pass "a comprehensive and historic" pharmacy benefit manager reform bill. Representatives for PBMs said Sherrill is blaming the wrong group and that drug manufacturers are setting "exorbitant prices and blocking lower cost generic drugs from the market." In an era when both Democrats and Republicans are pushing affordability in their platforms, efforts to lower drug costs will likely receive support in Trenton. But what does it look like?
