Despite headline risks from the Iran conflict and inflation, I remain bullish and am preparing to deploy the most cash ever into cyclical value stocks. My investment focus is on transportation stocks such as Union Pacific, Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited, and Old Dominion Freight Line, housing such as QXO and Builders FirstSource, private equity firms Brookfield and Ares Management, and select tech such as Amazon, targeting areas with re-shoring and growth tailwinds. I believe the "run it hot" thesis—accepting higher inflation to stimulate growth—supports U.S. economic resilience and creates hidden value beneath market volatility.
