The Atlanta-based transportation company reported revenue decreased 5.2% year-over-year to $21.7B. Average daily package volume was 21.2M vs. 21.1M expected. Total package volume was 1.34B vs. 1.32B expected. U.S. domestic package revenue was down 5.0% to $14.23B, driven by a 3.2% decrease in average daily volume. The segment saw an adjusted operating margin of 5.9%. International segment revenue rose 6.3% to $656M, driven by a 5.8% decrease in average daily volume. The segment saw an adjusted operating margin of 16.0%. Supply chains solutions revenue fell 5.3%, primarily due to market rate declines in forwarding. The segment saw an adjusted operating margin of 7.0%. UPS ( UPS ) reported EPS of $1.43 vs. $1.35 consensus and $1.93 a year ago.
