While the new cash offer still values TWO marginally below its book value, I think it is superior to the ongoing takeover attempt by UWM Holdings Corporation. Amid UWMC stock weakness and a higher cash bid, I believe TWO shareholders will vote down the UWMC deal on March 24. I do see the potential for an improved UWMC offer or a marginally higher cash offer. That said, the incremental gain is likely to be limited.
