The rating update came after Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) reported its fiscal Q1 2026 earnings on January 29, reporting $10.9 billion in net revenue for the quarter, up 15%, or 13% on a constant-dollar basis. Management attributed the growth to year-over-year growth in payments volume, cross-border volume, and processed transactions. GAAP net income for fiscal Q1 2026 was $5.9 billion or $3.03 per share, reflecting a growth of 14% and 17%, respectively, over the prior year's results. Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) further reported that payment volume for the three months ended September 30, 2025, rose 9% over the prior year on a constant-dollar basis, adding that the fiscal first quarter service revenue is recognized on it.
