PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Varian (NYSE: VAR) today announced that the newly proposed tariffs by the U.S. on the remaining $300 billion of Chinese imports should have no material impact to the company.Last Thursday, the U.S. announced plans to impose a 10 percent tax on $300 billion in Chinese imports beginning September 1, 2019.
