Vans parent VF Corp. provided a fiscal 2020 revenue outlook that was below expectations, as the apparel and footwear company provided certain preliminary financial data in conjunction with a debt offering. VF said it planned to publicly offer, subject to market conditions, senior debt to be issued in four tranches. The company said it planned to use the proceeds from the offering to repay borrowings under its revolving credit facility. On March 23, VF said it has $2.25 billion revolver, and the company said on April 7 that it drew down the "remaining" amount available under its revolver. Separately, the company said it expects to report revenue for the year ended March 28, 2020 of $11.3 billion to $11.4 billion, which is below the FactSet consensus of $11.5 billion. The stock, which fell 1.5% in premarket trading, has tumbled 44.0% year to date through Monday, while the S&P 500 has lost 12.6%.
