Everyone was very excited about it, but the IPO ultimately disappointed almost immediately. At the end of 2025, the stock was trading below $7… Because the war staged a remarkable rebound, it's now past the $15 mark. It's up 130% year to date. Venture Global's rise was built on moving very quickly to build export capacity, this is what you're looking for, starting with Calcasieu Pass in Louisiana. The problem is that the Calcasieu Pass became the center of a major dispute. When it opened in 2022, the Russia-Ukraine war had sent global LNG spot prices soaring.
