Vector Group (NYSE: VGR ) is after hours on news that it's moving into the S&P SmallCap 600 index . The company is replacing Tetra Tech (NASDAQ: TTEK ), which is making the move up to the MidCap 400. And Tetra Tech is replacing TCF Financial (NYSE: TCF ) there, as TCF is set to be acquired by Chemical Financial. The moves are effective prior to the open of trading on Thursday, Aug. 1.
