Viavi Solutions soared to a new 24-year high on Tuesday, as renewed optimism for the artificial intelligence sector spilled over to listed optical component makers. In intra-day trading, the stock climbed to a record high of $38.55 before paring a cent to finish the session up by 7.44 percent at $38.54 apiece.
