New municipal bond issuance reached $153 billion in the third quarter, bringing the year-to-date total to $437 billion. This is 13% higher than the same period in 2024 and significantly above previous years. Municipal fund net flows were a highlight, totaling about $16.2 billion for the quarter and $31.8 billion year to date.
