(NYSE: VLRS and BMV: VOLAR) ("Volaris" or "The Company"), the ultra-low-cost airline serving Mexico, the United States of America, and Central America, today announces its financial results for the second quarter 2021[1].Second Quarter 2021 Highlights (All metrics are compared to 2Q 2019 unless otherwise noted)Volaris reported a strong second quarter with double-digit growth in revenue and EBITDAR, driven by a continued recovery of passenger demand in the Company´s markets.Total operating revenue of Ps.11,501 million, a 38% increase. Total revenue per available seat mile (TRASM) increased 22% to Ps.165 cents. Operating expenses of Ps.8,850 million, a 15% increase.
