BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Oct. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Vulcan Materials Company (NYSE:VMC), the nation's largest producer of construction aggregates, announced that its Board of Directors has named Ronnie Pruitt Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026. At that time, he will also join the company's Board of Directors. The company's current Chairman and CEO, Tom Hill, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board. Mr. Hill and Mr. Pruitt have partnered closely to develop and implement the company's strategy and will continue to work together to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. "Ronnie is the ideal person to lead Vulcan's future growth and innovation," said Tom Hill. "He is an experienced executive with deep expertise across the strategic, operational, and commercial areas of our business.
