Instead of going to landfill, where the furniture would have generated dangerous emissions, Installnet kept the furniture in circulation through resale, donations, and recycling. The effort eliminated the equivalent of more than 91,750 metric tons of emissions, which has the same benefit as cutting 235 million miles of driving by gas-powered vehicles.
