BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Verastem, Inc. (NASDAQ: VSTM) (also known as Verastem Oncology), a biopharmaceutical company committed to developing and commercializing new medicines for patients battling cancer, today announced that in light of public health and safety precautions related to COVID-19, including restrictions on in-person gatherings, the Company’s 2020 annual meeting of stockholders will be changed from an in-person meeting to a virtual-only meeting. As previously announced, the annual meeting will be held on May 19, 2020 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time, but stockholders will not be able to attend in person. The virtual meeting will provide stockholders with the ability to participate, vote their shares, and ask questions.As described in the proxy materials for the annual meeting previously distributed, you are entitled to participate in the annual meeting if you were a stockholder of record as of on March 23, 2020, the record date for the annual meeting.To gain access to the meet
