NEW YORK, Jan. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gainey McKenna & Egleston announces that a securities class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of all persons or entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Vistagen Therapeutics, Inc. (“Vistagen” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: VTGN) securities between April 1, 2024 and December 16, 2025. The Complaint alleges that Defendants provided overwhelmingly positive statements to investors while at the same time, disseminating false and misleading statements and/or concealing material adverse facts concerning its Phase 3 PALISADE-3 trial study of fasedienol. The Complaint alleges that the truth began to emerge on December 17, 2025, when Vistagen issued a press release announcing that the PALISADE-3 Phase 3 study of intranasal fasedienol for the acute treatment of social anxiety disorder did not demonstrate a statistically significant improvement on the primary endpoint
