The competition of $20 billion Frontier acquisition is crucial for Verizon's long-term growth initiatives. The acquisition will boost Verizon's reach to more than 30 million fiber passings across 31 states in the country. As of the third quarter of 2025, Frontier reported 3.3 million broadband customers.
