Summary Weakening freight traffic in North America doesn't bode well for freight car-related demand over the next 12 months, and PSR has led to meaningful locomotive stacking. Early returns from the GE acquisition seem positive, with Wabtec posting some margin-driven beats in its first quarters. PSR is a near-term challenge, but could create more long-term aftermarket opportunities, while overseas markets offer more exciting prospects for the locomotive business. Wabtec shares don't look particularly cheap on cash flow, but the shares do trade about 1x lower than they should on EV/EBITDA relative to the margins and returns (ROA, et al).
