Related news Retail pharmacy chain Walgreens Boots Alliance ( WBA ) announced Tuesday that it has selected Adobe ( ADBE ) and Microsoft ( MSFT ) to power the next phase of its digital transformation. Adobe stock and Microsoft stock both rose on Tuesday. Walgreens will use Adobe technology to deliver personalized retail and wellness experiences to its customers. Microsoft will provide the cloud computing infrastructure for the shopping and health-care applications. Adobe and Microsoft are longtime cloud computing partners for enterprise customers. Terms of the multiyear contract were not disclosed. The new WBA contract is an expansion of an existing strategic partnership with Adobe and Microsoft. Earlier the companies worked together on developing mobile services for Walgreens. On the stock market today , Adobe stock climbed 2.6% to 435.31. Microsoft stock rose 2.5% to 203.48.
