(Photo by Sergio Flores/Getty Images)Walgreens said will “activate multiple mobile clinics” in Chicago as part of an eventual U.S. rollout of an intensified effort to reach medically underserved communities hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.Walgreens, which has already administered more than 15 million Covid-19 vaccines in its stores and off-site in nursing homes and communities, said the mobile clinics are building on success it has had hosting 700 vaccination clinics across the country primarily at churches and community centers, the drugstore chain said Monday.Walgreens and rival drugstore chains including CVS , Rite Aid and Walmart are expanding the availability of Covid-19 vaccines at more stores and also expanding other ways they reach Americans.
