NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Western Asset Premier Bond Fund (the “Fund”), which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “WEA,” announced today the results of the votes cast at the Fund’s annual meeting of shareholders held May 10, 2019. Robert Abeles, Jr., Anita L. DeFrantz, Ronald L. Olson, Avedick B. Poladian, William B. Siart, Jaynie Miller Studenmund, Peter J. Taylor and Jane Trust were elected as Trustees of the Fund by owners of its common stock to hold office until the annual meeting of shareholders in the year 2020 or thereafter when respective successors are duly elected and qualified or until they resign or are otherwise removed. The Fund is a diversified, closed-end management investment company that is advised by Western Asset Management Company, LLC ("WAMCo"), an affiliate of Legg Mason, Inc. It is sub-advised by certain of WAMCo’s foreign-based affiliates.
