Brown-Forman , the spirits maker behind Jack Daniel's and Woodford Reserve , has named a new executive vice president and CFO. Jim Peters, the new CFO, will begin his tenure March 31 and will report directly to Brown-Forman President and CEO Lawson Whiting. Peters, 56, brings more than a decade of financial and accounting experience to the company. Peters attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate degree and got his Master of Business Administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, according to a news release "I am honored to join Brown-Forman, a company with such a rich heritage and iconic portfolio of brands," Peters said in the release.
