purchase ~76.7M common shares in a registered direct offering priced at-the-market under Nasdaq rules. Shares of WISA sunk 25.5% in premarket trading. In a concurrent private placement, WISA also agreed to issue and sell unregistered warrants to purchase up to ~76.7M common shares. The combined effective offering price for each share of common stock and warrant is $0.03, WISA added. WISA expects proceeds of ~$2.3M from the registered direct offering and concurrent private placement. According to the company, the offering is expected to close on or about March 27, 2024.
