Hand-Off: NFL rules prohibit owners from having a share in more than one team so Harris and Blitzer must sell their stake in the Steelers. J osh Harris and David Blitzer are selling their combined 4.5% stake in the Pittsburgh Steelers to billionaire financier Thomas Tull and Art Rooney II , the president of the team, for an enterprise value at a tad over $4 billion, including $200 million of debt, sources have told Forbes In August, Forbes valued the Steelers at $4.63 billion , 18th in the NFL. But that valuation was after Harris and Blitzer had began negotiating with Tull and Rooney on the transaction. Tull, a former film financier and founder of production company Legendary Entertainment has a net worth of $3 billion A group led by Harris purchased the Washington Commanders for $6.05 billion last July.
